Juventus are eyeing a move for Benfica defender Luisao but the clubs still differ on their valuation of the player.

It has been reported that the Brazilian has agreed to a €3 million a season contract with the Bianconeri, though Benfica president has poured cold water on the rumours stating the player wants to retire in Portugal.

According to Eurosport in Portugal, Benfica are willing to let Luisao go for a fee close to €4 million while the Bianconeri are only prepared to pay €3m.

The 33-year-old joined As Aguias in 2003 from Cruzeiro and initially struggled to adapt to his new surroundings but finished his first season with a Taca de Portugal medal and has since added eight domestic honors to his collection.

Luisao has made 254 appearances scoring 21 goals for Benfica and won the club’s Player of the Season award in 2009.
