The Anfield outcast is keen to re-join the Rossoneri, with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic supporting the move.

Sky Sport Italia have revealed that the two clubs have agreed terms for the season-long-loan of the striker.

The deal is said to be a loan move, with no buyout clause in place.

Initial reports, which had suggested an option to purchase for €10 million, have been dismissed as false.

The same publication believes Balotelli will half his salary to €3 million, to be paid jointly by both clubs.

Balotelli is currently at his home in Brescia awaiting the medical, which should take place tomorrow.

Overall he managed four goals for Liverpool in 28 appearances, with just the solitary league goal.
