Floro Flores Sassuolo Bologna. jpgSassuolo will play their third match of the last nine days on Sunday as they welcome Bologna to the Mapei Stadium.

Eusebio Di Francesco is seeking a positive result for his battle weary side following a 1-1 result midweek in the rescheduled round 16 match at home to Torino.

The Emilia-Romagna outfit are determined to find the clinical touch that has been missing whilst playing at home, having drawn their past three games at the Mapei Stadium. However, one point of pride is that the Neroverdi are the only team to remain undefeated at home other than Napoli, having not lost a game on their own turf since April 29, 2015.

Roberto Donadoni’s side come into the game off the back of a disheartening 2-2 draw at home to Lazio last weekend, where they took complete ownership of the match thanks to goals by Emanuele Giaccherini and Mattia Destro, before being brought down to 10 men and watching their lead slip away in the second half as Miroslav Klose’s stunning impact from the bench helped earn two goals back for the visitors.

The Rossoblu are just six points away from the relegation zone and sit in 15th place in the Serie A standings, but have admirably taken four away victories out of their nine encounters on the road.

Antonio Floro Flores emerged the hero of the day in the reverse fixture during August last year, after netting Sassuolo’s game winning goal in the 86th minute to silence Bologna’s home supporters and steal a 1-0 victory.

The Felsinei are striving to achieve their first Serie A victory over the Neroverdi as they’ve only ever managed to defeat them once in a 2-1 club friendly fixture in July 2009.

Despite plenty of fatigue in Sassuolo’s camp, only Emanuele Terranova will be unavailable this weekend due to injury, leaving Di Francesco with an otherwise full squad to choose from.

Adam Masina is out of Sunday’s clash for the visitors after receiving a straight red card against Lazio, while Domenico Maietta will also be missing due to injury.
