Forza Italian FootballCalcio is an eventful entity. Here at Forza Italian Football we aim to bring you the best action and reaction to the events in the peninsula.

We must first remind you about the Third Annual Italian Football FanCast Awards. The nominees have been decided and all you have to do is go and vote for the winner in each of the eleven categories. So what are you waiting for?

The past week has been one for Milan fans every where as the Rossoneri won their first Scudetto since 2004 and James Uanhoro brought us thetactical analysis of the 0-0 draw with Roma which sealed top spot.

Be sure to check out Adriano Boin’s headline round-up. We have the Daily Serie A Headlines from the famous pink paper, Tuttosport and the Corriere dello Sport, all ready to read with your morning cup of coffee.

As you would expect with the title triumph we decided to focus on the Champions of Italy, Sam Lewis compared Milan’s current Scudetto winning side to those of old and gave his opinion on the key players in that led the Rossoneri to the title.

Despite this momentous victory, there were a couple of black marks against Milan as Rino Gattuso was seen to be making obscene chants at former boss Leonardo while Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave team mate Antonio Cassano a good kick to the head, and all this during the celebrations following the match with Roma.

However celebrations can’t go on for long as Rajath Kumar assessed a new, young Milan team that is in the process of coming together and Padraig Whelan asked what the future holds for veteran Pippo Inzaghi as he is almost ready to return from a serious knee injury.

As ever Scot Munroe brought us the top 5 goals of the Serie A weekend and Ratul Chakraborty gave us his assessment of a Juventus side on the hunt for European football following their draw with Chievo.

Look out for our new gossip column, highlighting the most ridiculous rumours circulating the press on any given day, and our very own Rob Hutchinson speculated as to the future of Manchester United’s Federico Macheda and his seemingly immanent permanent move to the peninsula. Pete South also speculated about Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez and the tug of war with both Manchester teams for his services.

The race for fourth spot in Serie A is hotting up and Enzo Misuraca assesses the best way forward for Italian football and reveals the team he hopes will make it into that coveted final Champions League place. While Rory Hanna looks at the impact more foreign owners would have on football in the peninsula.

Arber Sulejmani takes us back in time, to a time where Juventus were fighting for Scudetti with both Milan clubs and asks who the Bianconeri should purchase in the summer, Fabio Quagliarella or Alessandro Matri? Whilst also enlightening us on what Calciopoli is really all about.

We also gave you the chance to bid for one of Calcio’s historic pieces of memorabilia, the boot that scored Antonio Di Natales’s 100th Serie A goal. Announced the top 10 veterans in Serie A and Gurdeep Bains revealed the most wanted stars that could beheading to pastures new in the summer.

Taking a look into the future, Okuneye Tamilore speculates as to who will be leading the Azzurri attack in Brazil 2014? I can guarantee Francesco Totti will not be on the plane.

And of course we have the brilliant, the superlative, the utterly magnificent, original and best Italian football podcast. It is indeed the Italian Football Fancast with none other than Myself, Goal.com’s Italian Football Editor Kris Voakes, and ESPN, Al Jazeera and Fox Sports commentator Owen Neilson.

Finally, we took a little look at those coming up from Serie B, with Jack Beresford focussing on the return of Atalanta to the top flight, while we highlighted one of the most passionate derbies in Italy, one that many people don’t know much about, it is of course the Puglia Derby, and we also managed to rope Paul Rideout in to help us.

One thing is for sure you can’t complain about being bored. Enjoy!
